Happy 16th, Son!

Wow, this is one of those amazing days --- my eldest turned 16 today.  It's weird, honestly.  I certainly don't feel old enough to be here. 

Dylon, I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday.  It was 1:00am and you were staring at me with those huge brown eyes and very long dark brown hair.  Your cheeks were mega-fat and you were the cutest little bundle of joy I had ever seen.  I was exhausted and went to bed soon after, but I couldn't sleep. I got up and walked down to the hospital nursery to just peek at you once again. You were so sweet. 

You are growing into a fine young man and I cannot wait to see all you become in Christ.  I love you, son!
